From the southern tip to the northern tip of Norway is 1,100 miles, but in measuring the coast with all its waterways it measures 63,000 miles.
$3750 per person, double occupancy. Tour package only. Does not include transatlantic flights. Price is based on Norwegian exchange rate at time of purchase. Includes most meals, transportation, and museums/sites, and overnight places while on the tour.

Tour begins in Trondheim June 19, 2018 and lasts for 14 days.
June 19 Arrive Trondheim Vaernes Airport. After collecting luggage take the airport bus/Fly bus close to your hotel. Most people will be arriving this day. (Some may come earlier). Linda will be there to welcome you. Settling in from the long flight. Overnight 2 nights in the heart of Trondheim town. D
June 20 Day in Trondheim. Tour planned to Nidaros Cathedral. May be an organ concert mid-day. Your day to visit the town. Suggestions and sights will be provided. B.D.
June 21 Travel to. Bodø, by Norwegian train. We arrive in Bodø at 5pm. Overnight right in town. Dinner on own. B.
June 22-25 From Bodø we sail to one of Norway's best pearls, Lofoten, which is 68 degrees North latitude–absolute stunning, exquisite, with its extreme natural beauty! Three hour sightseeing by ferry we experience the sea with it’s white sandy beaches against sharp peaked mountains which makes the landscape exquisitely dramatic. Even more spectacular is the midnight sun that never sets.
On our signature tour, we begin our travels along Norway's coastline from Trondheim north to Harstad, visiting coastal fishing villages. We will overnight in 'rorbuer'-authentic fishermen's cabins, experiencing culture on Norway's coastline. From Bodø we sail to one of Norway's best pearls, Lofoten, which is 68 degrees North latitude–absolute stunning, exquisite, with its extreme natural beauty!
We will be staying in the Lofoten islands for 4 days/3nights as we explore this island, experiencing the sea with it’s white sandy beaches against sharp peaked mountains which makes the landscape exquisitely dramatic. We'll visit historical traces from the Middle Ages and Viking era, local artisans, kaviar factory, museums, horse back riding on the sandy beaches, and more, creating a lifetime of memories.
Lofoten is a spectacular sight. The sparsely green mountains, the soft sandy beaches, the ocean and the fishing are fascination and breathtaking. Lofoten has its unique world class coastal culture.
Along the 'Lofoten wall" are pearls of islands, fishing villages and sharp peaked mountains. The mild Atlantic climate gives Lofoten life and experience all year round. With the white alps in the ocean, sticking out of sight as the scenery of the ocean brings to view fish farms and fishermen along the waterfront, a unique attraction.
By land or by sea, you experience the mountains that rise up to 3000 feet directly from the sea. Sea eagles are well known on the island and one may see dolphins, seals and other sea birds.

June 25 We travel north to Harstad with overnight. This will be the farthest north that we will be traveling. Overnight stay at Skandic Harstad Hotel B, D
June 26-28 From Harstad to Trondheim going south, we will embark on the Hurtigruten-Norwegian Coastal Steamer for 2 nights, sailing along a small portion of the rugged Norwegian coastline. This is just a taste of the 7-12 day excursion it makes every day since 1893. Boarding before 8 am, June 26 we board the boat cruising south through many small villages, viewing Norway’s beautiful and ever changing coast. This part of the voyage I think is some of the best views on the voyage. Hopefully good weather travels with us.
Overnight in your double room (2 twin beds) inside cabin, (or if you prefer an upgrade, (per request). Breakfast and Dinners provided
June 28 We arrive in Trondheim at 8 am where our 1st class chartered bus will be waiting for us as we travel along the west coast of Norway. We travel visiting Kristiansund, crossing the 8.3 km Atlantic Highway,and on to Molde where we will stay for the night in a typical classic Fjord Hotel situated by the water. B.D.
June 29 Destination inland to the mountains to Grotli/Lom area including a tour to Geiranger and to one of Norway’s best (and most fantastic) viewpoints, Dalsnibba, while traversing hairpin roads down to the beautiful fjords and up to memorable high mountain top views. Arriving at Grotli, you will experience a cozy mountain cabin with a traditional Norwegian meal provided by the owners for our private group. D.B.
June 30 Balestrand. Traveling along the Fjords today. Old churches, the beautiful carved and wooden Kvikne hotel, art shops, relax, view the beauty of fjord country! (Availability is tough, but I will do my best. If not available, I have an overnight place right in the heart of the fjords) B.D.
July 1 A 3 hour boat cruise on the Sognefjord arriving in the Bergen harbor by 11 am. (This part may change depending on our place of stay). The rest of the day is yours to explore the town on your own. There is so very much to see and do. Your 24-hour Bergen pass will give you discounted and free entrance to many places.
Hotel Thon Rosenkrantz overnight with only a five minute walk to the famous fishing harbor. B.D.
July 2 Tour ends after breakfast today. You may want to stay another day in Bergen, continue travels, or depart to home. If you decide to continue or stay in Bergen, I am glad to help arrange this for you upon your request.
Much more detailed information will be provided as the travel group forms. The tour is limited to 20 travelers, then there will be a waiting list. The tour price is $3750 per person. (Based on the $1-8 nok rate) Single supplement upon request TBD. Request room share with no additional charge. The tour is 14 days 13 nights. All-inclusive except where stated. Does not include your flight.
